A buddy and I were talking about the super man movies and the actor Terrance Stamp was brought up. I remember him playing General Zod. It was brought to my attention that a film "The Limey" was worthy of a view. Have any of you seen this movie? If so would you recommend?
Follow Ups:
If you're curious, it's worth checking out for yourself--rentals are cheap, right? Chances are you'll enjoy Stamp's performance. The film also makes use of some unique editing techniques I thought were kind of interesting. FWIW, I don't agree that it's a gore-fest, a bad film, or boring... but that's just my opinion.

I liked it; seeing Barry Newman, (Vanishing Point), Pete Fonda ( Easy Rider/Comes a Fine Notion, etc.), Joe Dallesandro ( Black Moon, + Warhol films) and Stamp, now all "old farts", was a hoot!
I thought Luis Guzman was excellent in his supporting roleGrins
I agree with all your points. There are other little"oddball" gems in there too - when the FBI agent say's "Go with God!" ... Peter Fonda dental flossing while talking about the 60's ... Luis Guzman saying "I met her in acting class" ... the bodyguard saying "We're quakin'! "We're quakin'! "
The Fonda character's house alone is worth it.

I thought he was also terrific in "Far From the Madding Crowd".

I misunderstood. I thought you were talking about Stamp so my comment was about Stamp's acting in FFTMC.

Hmmmmm.... quite a different movie, about sex therapist guilty of some... shall we say, unconventional techniques... if you know what I mean?I would say it is trash, but something you might want to see once. Might get your juices going.
Bliss? Sounds like Terrance Stamp is into interesting parts. Him and Dennis Hopper should do something together! B
for Stamp to do except kill.
At least compared to, say, Pulp Fiction. Mildly interesting to watch, some of the characters are interesting, and Mr. Stamp gets to throw a guy off a balcony with great panache.
/*Music is subjective. Sound is not.*/
Thanks, It may be a movie i'll avoid for a while.

The Collector, directed by William Wyler. Samantha Eggar... yummy.
For some reason the two co-exist in my mind, like the twins.
I'll have to try!
