BTW I never like Charade, I have tried quite a few times to, but to not use and I love both actors.
Donen directing is just two slow, very sophisticated, but in the end he fails to get my attention.
One of those films that you are SUPPOSED to like but I never have althouygh, like you, I ike the actors. The remake is also not to my liking ("The Truth Abut Charlie").

My wife made me watch it and I'm glad. Some review I read said "The best Hitchcock movie he didn't make." and I agree. Go read the trivia about it on the IMDB when done, it's interesting.
