...was the title of an ABC mini-series maybe fourteen years ago, about what it would be like to live here under Soviet domination. I found it very powerful, and plausible, at the time. Has anyone here seen it since? Does it still make sense? I have the tapes...clark
Follow Ups:
i may have seen it but i think i am a sucker for sci fi and will probably watch anything sometimes hating it but always hoping for a good plot.
I haven't seen "Amerika" since it aired, riding the wave of the popularity of the Milius film, "Red Dawn", but Letterman did a hilarious spoof of it called "Kanada" in which the Canadians were taken over by their arch enemies, the Samoans (with outrigger canoes, no less).
Icebacks!
But in the '60's they were called "draft dodgers".
