      I assumed that Lou had seen the original, so I was interested in her comparison. She turned to me and said..."Was it this long and badly written?"

      We watched the original and she thought it was far more impressive considering the technology when it was made. She also thought the ending was more sincere.

      One flick I loved...

      The Squid and the Whale.

      Jeff Daniels was so superb in this film. Having gone through it, I watched it with great curiosity and was happy to find out that I wasn't that big of a bastard.

        and Proof I'm going to have to watch on DVD when they come out. The price of living in a smallish community. Sigh.
        But the fish and shrimp are fresh as can be and the sight of a woman in a bikini in December keeps one young.
