Saw Kong today and liked it very much. The acerbic "anti critics" on this board are starting to draw my attention to movies that they trash as probable good watches.
The slimey leech things slowly consuming the crew member was about one of the worst things I've seen in a while, and I loved the incredibly debauched, vicious, and ugly natives, although they didn't seem that much worse than the New York crowds.

Yea the natives and the insect attacks were fantastic - I also like the T-Rex scene and the scene where they men were running under the stampeeding plant eaters.
Other than the length being too long about the only thing I didn't like about the movie was the "eye contact" between the woman and the ape.
