    I cannot strongly enough recommend "Withnail and I" to you. It is the absolute best depiction of the sixties. You will recommend several of the actors, unknown when the film was made, that were catapulted to "character actor" longevity as a direct result of this film.
    Don't drink a good wine when you're watching it, though.
    It would be a pity to expel it through your nose onto your fine Persian carpets.

  Based on how much good press it got I was pretty surprised at how flat and un-funny it actually was. Maybe when I was 15 I would have liked it... maybe.
