Labeling Brokeback as a "Gay movie" is a convenient oversimplification, esp by someone who claims to have not seen it. The story certainly doesn't glamorize the gay lifestyle depicted.

As far as I'm concerned, both of your reasons for not wanting to see it are personal preferences and nothing I can argue with. Consider however if you reverse your logic in reason 2; should gays not be interested in hetero movies?

BTW, I like your pun at the end of reason 1...you say you haven't seen the film???
