Wow! Both Garland and B. Lancaster give stand-out performances. IMHO Garland was overlooked as an actress as evidenced in this film and some others that I have seen recently on TMC such as I Could Go On Singing and Judgement At Nuremburg. Of course her performances as a singer are legendary....
