Pacino is still interested in the art of acting, still puts his all into it. Even in a fairly mediocre film like "Two For the Money", he delivers his lines with great verve, inhabiting a not very likeable character with great charisma, depth and vulnerability. He still has it, even if the charlatan/power monger aspect of many of his recent characters seems somewhat similar. I agree DeNiro could phone in most of his roles the past 10 years. Too bad, but still too soon to write him off. I hope..."You think you got it bad? I'm in here with a guy thinks Wyoming is a country"...
