"Crash" did pretty OK in AA nominations today

we are kept as the fly on the wall - and it merely shows rather than tells the way normal people act in their day to day lives. If it wins best picture I would not mind one bit...it came out with very little advertising and has grown popular on video (very similar to the way Shawshank Redemption did in 1994).
I personally think Paul Giamatti should win for supporting actor over Dillon though.

I thought that it was an excellent movie. There were times when some of the acting wasn't completely believable, but that's not why I thought that it was so good: this movie makes the viewer think about their own thoughts and prejudices (I believe that we all have them, to some extent). There are times when I pondered, "Haven't I thought that same thing before? Don't I feel this way sometimes?" And I have generally considered myself to be unbiased, and unprejudiced.
It's worth a look, if only for the good that it might do for yourself.
