He never convince me totally, as you know. Accatone is maybe is best work.
There is gread difference between his presentation and that of directors who are humanists at heart - people like Fellini and De Sica. They are portraying the same harsh reality, but their work exudes human warms, while Pasolini's - gravestone coldness.
Somewhat " un-clean " in his I always felt....Still a great intellectual.
