    Fortunately, that technique has been abandoned, but I still have spent some afternoons with unfortunate people who had undergone that most barbaric procedure, and I know what I´m saying: Nicholson was overacting, as lobotomized people don´t become deep vegetals, they still show some basic emotions, and can reason...

    Ms Lange played that role in a most convincing way indeed.
