Andrew Davis directed this remake of Hitchcock's "Dial M For Murder", which itself was based on a stage play. In it, Michael Douglas in a Gorden Gecco type role, is a tycoon who blackmails a con artist having an affair with Douglas' trophy wife (Gwyneth Paltrow) to murder her. Viggo Mortenson plays the con artist who is actually an artist but obviously after Paltrow's millions. There are plot holes but I for one found this to be a very entertaining film.
Follow Ups:
Mikey had aged since "The Game"? It didn't look intentional but I'm not sure.
Agreed; this is a quite enjoyable movie, though married by some plot holes.
