  Pretty twisted ending.

  I had a friend who swore, up and down, that Maddy Walker DID die in the boathouse explosion. She thought her college friend, who had one line in the movie when Hurt's character ranb into her on the gazebo, was behind everythng and got away with the ineritance.

    Adrian Lyne's Jacob's Ladder has an amazing finish, although M. Night Shamalamadingdong stole the ending. It reminded me somewhat of Alan Parker's Angel Heart, two older suspense films by two excellent directors.
