Movies with twist ending come by the dozen, most of them are unbelievable, impossible or simply stupid. Sixth Sense is very good but my favorite is The Usual Suspects, which also proved false the
saying "seeing is believing".
Follow Ups:
Pretty twisted ending.I had a friend who swore, up and down, that Maddy Walker DID die in the boathouse explosion. She thought her college friend, who had one line in the movie when Hurt's character ranb into her on the gazebo, was behind everythng and got away with the ineritance.
"Profession: Reporter" comes to mind.
A great twist but not exactly at the end.

...An Altman gem from the 70's. Or "Sleuth," with Sir Lawrence? And "Where Eagles Dare?" Or "Performance?" I have a thing for the films of that era.
Olivier and Caine, both were so good that they eliminated each other at "Oscar" that year.

.he would have to have been in two palces at once. Best is "The Last of Sheila".

..comes to mind.
Adrian Lyne's Jacob's Ladder has an amazing finish, although M. Night Shamalamadingdong stole the ending. It reminded me somewhat of Alan Parker's Angel Heart, two older suspense films by two excellent directors.
