Gawd, is this a funny movie....My stomach is killing me. Cannot give it away
Check the cast out....
Follow Ups:
... in my opinion, the comedian who best exemplifies the jazz-comedy ideal, managed to not tell the joke at all.
Have you seen him perform
There are a couple (I think) of DVDs and I would HIGHLY recco them.
But beware.... you may have to concentrate as themes come back ages after...
"Do you have a flag? We have a flag."
I watched this last night and turned it off after less than an hour. Not funny in the least. Mistaking vulgarity for humor?
I walked out of this half way through, not having cracked a smile.

"The Arisocrats" gave me insight into comedy as an improvised art form. Although I found the constant "potty talk" tedious, there were some wonderful moments. This was comedy with Jazz mentality.
As usual Carlin's reading was head and shoulders over everyone else, but there were other funny bits and pieces. Pollacks routine as Christopher Walken was hilarious, and the presentation of old comedians with kinder, gentler readings, verses the new comedian more vile and relentless version of the same joke was interesting and telling. It wasn't a film to be easily discounted just because it wasn't "a comedy riot-fun for the whole family!"
was a highlight for me. Great card manipulater.
