The producers have done the same thing for the last two or three opening shows. They insist on going over the "what's going on with" every character in the show ad nauseum. I think this kills the momentum of the opening show. But once the preliminaries are out of the way the series picks up nicely. Season six seems to be starting no different. I'm sure everyone noticed that at the end of this show there were no scenes from next week. I guess done to keep you guessing about Tony's condition as if it were a big secret. Tony recovers and Junior's off to the "funny-farm" assisted living facility. Anyone taking bets?
Follow Ups:
Thats how I see it too, Tony has to recover, and Junior is off to 'assisted living'...I would love to see the series end in an open way, live and let live reality...closure can be over-rated. I have been a fan from day 1, and hope Mr Chase doesn't follow convention...like making the 'bad' guys lose and the 'good' guys win. Yuck. Looking foward to next Sunday...
