William Wyler directed this Bronte classic which stars Lawrence olivier, Merle Oberlin, and David Niven. The cinemtography and acting perfectly capture the dark broodingtoine of the novel. Olivier is particularly good here.
Follow Ups:
The Ghost and Mrs. Muir....more light-hearted fair than WH...but good performances by R. Harrison and G. Tierney...
I am a late comer to but a lover of "he Ghost and Mrs. Muir" and it has become one of my favorite films. George Sanders is such a slimeball, as he is in "Rebecca" as well. Thanks.
