Yep, another indie with a super-ensemble cast that explores the disconnect between teens and parents. This dysfunction a-go-go is orchestrated by Jamie Bell in the anchor role of Dean who is an asocial guy who just wants to be left alone to do his pills his neighbor sells. Unfortunately, he finds his down-the-street pusher hung from the rafters of the pool house where he lives. Then the plot spreads outs and sucks in the topflight cast: Allison Janey, William Fichter, Glenn Close, Ralph Finnes, Rita Wilson, Carrie-Ann Moss, John Heard, and a buncha teens! (How do they get all these guys to sign-on?)Jamie Bell and his teen tormentors have the most screen time but each heavyweight brings his own special "crazy" to the party.
If you're into this kind of movie, by all means see it.
Follow Ups:
I just watched this movie last night and was about to sit down and write a similar review.
Beat me to it!
Cheers,
Chris
