I'm rarely embarrased by personal photos, although there are bound to be some ancient snap-shots out there somewhere that I'd wince at retrospectively.

FTR, I tend to be more self-conscious about being 20 pounds over my ideal body weight and concerns about MPB than what is or isn't popular apparel-wise! Note: I think the Telly Savalas look is more Victor than me, but I have trouble envisioning Victor ever uttering the words: "Who loves ya, baby?" (grin)

The bottom line is that I'm very comfortable in my chosen attire, regardless of the situation or whether I select leather, denim, Irish tweed or Italian wool for the occasion.

Victor is apparently a horse of an entirely different color (even though his inclination for poupon-arrogance rarely illustrates more than the southern view of a north-bound horse).

At any rate, the questions you should be asking are:

1) Was there any effort to retouch Victor's 'Napoleon Dynamite' image?

2) Did ol' Vic have any serious work done (nip/tuck)?

3) If the answer to 1 & 2 above is a resounding NO, then the obvious follow-up question should be: why not?
