Match Point appears to be a homage to Hitchcock in both concept and style, but with an inspired twist that I doubt Hitchcock would've gotten away with. IMHO, this film is borderline high art; Woody scores a winner here, with few faults.

You are fantasying...Even if the plot may vaguely remember the master of suspence, it is on a completely different level!
One being an intellectual, the other a sensual pulpy, Freudian, symbolistic director.
How do you say? Apples and pears.
BTW, in spite of having a superior continental twist, all of your serves have gone wide; as your humble chair umpire, I'm calling a double fault in your analysis of Woody & Hitch. ;^)Game, Set and Match.
How can you be so conservative?
And that " grey poupon "...
Do me a favour, will you?
Find some thing new...Like apples and...pears...
That was not an anal-lysis, my dear it was about apples and ...
PS: I hope you can do something ( no doubt ) about the anal-.....PSII: Now that Victor has gone out of my life how about us two sweetie?...
