The real story of a theater in London during war time.
Judy Dench & Bob Hoskins & Mrs. Reilly...A brillant cast in a very enjoyable film.
If you love women breasts, in this film you will very well served...
A good story, time flies by.
Follow Ups:
Patrick stop Germanizing all this wonderful names.
I knows it is just a fairy tale.
Sacre bleu.... I hope you don't mean Ms. Dench's dugs.
Bon sang! All but not hers!
... The WIndmill was a British institution and played no small role in keeping morale high during the days of continual bombing with their We Never Close motto and attitude.
The content of their shows may seem quaint or even unacceptable now, but the 30s-40s was a different world.
I thought the speech Judi Dench gives outside the theatre very moving and the scenes across the roofs of London were to exactly where my family was living in the East End. Poignant for an ex-paet Londoner.
Very enjoyable film.
Not only for an ex-Londoner. Even for a not expatriated one.
Yes very enjoyable.
