Even worst than LotR.
Boring. Completely. The kids look lost most of the time, behind some Spielbergerish ETesque blue screen.
The only, but really the only thing worth is the Greek mythology fantasy creatures, they are the best thing I ever saw on a digital animation.

I really liked the books when I was a kid. When I got wind of production going up on this one I reread the books. Boy, what a huge disappointment. They didn't hold up at all. In fact I'd have to say they are simply garbage. Sooo, while I don't thing The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe is a great movie or even much of a good one, it actually is much better than the original book. I also found the digital animation of the creatures to be subpar for the most part. I'm kind of surprised you liked that part of it. Even the Centaurs that you pointed out didn't line up well in the composite much of the time.
Yes I found it near matching what I imagine this kind of creatures to be when I was a kid and read the mythology.
Taken for each separately I did find them having real nice touch.
Anyway an horrible film.
Oh I forgot! The first ten minutes started very well.

Good is relative. starting from a German point of...bombing it was a little unusual and better than the usual..After the sending aways of kids to the country side was well done too..
