I was surprised it was so intense, it is hard to like people that have so much handed to them. I was kind of releived when it was over and consider it a near miss at being excellent.
Worth a look and a comparison to Hitchcock might be warrented but he was more subtle and plain with his stories, this felt more contrived.

I think a part of his dilemma was he was torn to his old Allen and his new rebirth as a film maker.
Now I wait his second effort of his second period.
