It was nice to see the made for TV film "Duel" Directed by
Steven Spielberg on a list of "On Demand" free movies.Funny thing... I've been clueless regarding this feature and am now hooked.
For some reason I thought there was a specific time the movies started and a waiting period... but there isn't. Just choose one and start watching.
The movie Duel has always been a favorite.
I seem to catch something different every time I watch it.It’s interesting to see the inner turmoil regarding the one being terrorized. His thoughts seemed so real.
Everything seems to roll up nice in the Café scene.
Follow Ups:
Due to its initial success Speilberg added footage (the school bus, the snake lady) and released it theatrically, at least in Europe. since they had destroyed the truck they had to use another and you can spot differences.
In the words Emily Latella-"Never mind".
Well, … If the original was what I saw as a kid in the early 70's on up/ than this is most accepted] and i wouldn’t mind the "directors" alteration especially since it came from one of the best… not only that… but one of the bests “first’s”
interesting tid bits of information, Thanks!
Will have to look again.Oh, by the way... when the stunt driver drove the truck off the cliff, he left the drivers side door open after jumping out.. Oops!
