Glenn Gould's arrangements and performances of Bach pieces greatly enhance this faithful adaptation of the celebrated Kurt Vonnegut nove. Billy Pilgrim (Michael Sacks) time trips throughout the film and one quickly adjusts to the sudeen and frequent changes in time and locale. The main thrust of the story is the fire bombing of Dresden in early 1945,, one of the great WW II tragedies. Well directed by George Roy Hill. The Paul Lazzaro character is referenced in "Apocalypse Now". Recommended.
