I thought Pacino was great. It's interesting to compare his portrayal of the powerful mob figure in the Godfather and the out-of-touch mob in this movie.

While you're at it, I'd suggest that you rent "Goodfellas", another very good mob movie. It too may be memorable for a long while. May be a bit aggressive, but worth checking out.
