For me, Joan Fontaine in "Rebecca" is #1.
Uma Thurman in "Pulp Fiction," #2.
Winona Rideher in just about any role #3. Her vulnerability gets to me.
Follow Ups:
Otherwise, Anne Francis in Forbidden Planet still gets my blood moving. Another nod to Lily Tomlin in Incredible Shrinking Woman. Granted these aren't oscar roles but I thought they were fun.

film for my first two picks, and qualified the lack of specificity in the third.
Really though I mentioned it to get myself off the hook for just throwing out the names of actresses.

you have Roger Rabbit's voice and enunciation down to a t.
He had a dream job and was by far the best at it. If you can catch one of his interviews, he sounds like sylvester without the lisp, it's awesome.
Fun fact: Blanc had a cameo role as a dentist in Wilder's "Kiss Me Stupid". He sounded just like Yosemite Sam.
I agree he did sounded as Sylvester of which that throw me off for a loop as I thought he was mimicking him little did I know as the interview went on that was his real voice.Anyway no one could voice as he could with Foghorn Leghorn character it’s simply amazing what his voice could do to an insignificant character like Foghorn Leghorn a nuisance loudmouth rooster that ruled the roost together with the dog who’s trying to protect the hens.
