Like the Raiders sequel, much too dark, gross, bombastic & silly. An overly long setup for the 3rd film, lacking the humor & charm of Curse of the Black Pearl.

My guess is that there's enough decent stuff to have made this 2 parter into one reasonably entertaining (and obviously, much tighter) movie.As it is... zzzzzzzzzzzzz
