I laughed the hardest when they mentioned the death of WA's character and they cut to him in the boat bitching about driving on the "God Damm" wrong side of the road. Great timing in that. I also cracked up when he called the Jews harp the Blues harp because "Any hint of anti-semitism and those people write letters"All in all - even though the critical consensus was the opposite - I felt that this, though lighter, was better written and better acted. A very entertaining 90 minutes.
P.S. You have a strange hang up about the weight/shape of actresses.

Hardly a strange "hang-up," sj.
I just like my leading ladies to be... attractive. Now, if looks don't matter to you, fine. If that's the case, I'm sure you shake your head in wonderment at why fine 200-lb. actresses aren't cast as romantic leads.
Anyhow, the jokes you mention had me rolling in the aisles but the funniest for me was the one he cracked to the pukka-pukka Englishman at that party: "I was born into the Hebrew persuasion but I converted to narcissism."
I think several people around me were on the verge of telling me to shut up since I couldn't stop laughing well into the next scene...
