Someone should tell him that Hitchcock appeared in nearly all of his films, but he never saved the day.

Hey, look at the bright side, ...it M-I-G-H-T just be a great, fantastic, wonderful flick & all the negative noise could be wrong. BUT, if it's half as bad as the folks around here are saying and a consensus of reviewers at Rotten Tomatoes has opined, ...well, you have my sympathy. Here's a thought: Try slipping out when your friends aren't looking (or when they've dozed off) and catch The Descent (I've seen that one; it's worth the effort) or The Illusionist (I haven't seen that one, but the buzz is quite good);, ...and if all else fails, there's always ...ta-dah!... Snakes on A Plane! :o)
Cheers,

Yes, I saw the Descent and enjoyed it - one of the better B movie 'horror' flics of the year.
