I never really liked Silence of the Lambs either, I liked Manhunter alot more. One of the problems "I" had with SOTL was Anthony Hopkins, now he is a great actor and I have enjoyed him in a number of movies, but I can't take him serious as "Canable Lecther". Behind bars, I guess it was a little bit easy to see him as a serial killer. But, now that he is out on the loose and doing "who knows what to whom" I just can't believe his character. And we he says "Hello Clarrise" I just want to laugh (he sounds like a wuss), what you a killer, naw, say it ain't so. I will wait for this one to hit HBO.
Follow Ups:
Anyone see the tv show the practice? Now William Hinks, he's a villain. The plot was so damn good it would have made a great movie.
I think Lecteur is suppose to appear as a "wuss," however this only makes him more scary when he "flips." He has a split personality... it just makes him even weirder!
I thought of him more as small, dark, and far more elegant.Oh, and with six fingers on one hand.
