Was his image supposed to be "projected" on stage by that rattletrap/coffee grinder projector they revealed earlier on? Nobody in the audience could hear/see this? If not when Norton was on stage how about when the little boy walks through the crowd?! Where was the "projectionist" sitting and panning that thing where nobody would notice or hear him?!

Suspension of disbelief is one thing, this was something else.
