  Watched Barton Fink last night and didn't much care for it. It had some nice moments(I liked the interogation by the LAPD detectives), but I'd have to say this is one of the Coens' weaker efforts. I need to see The Hudsucker Proxy again, but as of now I'd rank Barton Fink about where I put Hudsucker, although I found Barton Fink to be more interesting.

  Saw Blood Simple last night. A low-budget masterpiece. I'd put it at #2 on my rankings list. The performances weren't quite as interesting as Fargo's overall, and the acting in some of the minor roles wasn't as good, but that's nitpicking, really. Blood Simple has one of the best finishes of any movie I've seen. And M. Emmet Walsh was superb.
