  Maybe Coppola will use CGI and audio dubbing to make Brando say the lines he was SUPPOSED to say if he wasn't on a two year bender.

    for those fans of "Applesauce Now" who have not seen Coppola's wife's documentary on the making of the film, I highly recommend "Hearts of Darkness".

    In my opinion, this is better than the film it documents.

  speaking of Marlin Brando,

  there's this western where he has a bit-part as the effeminate bounty hunter who uses a long-range rifle against his prey: apparently called "regulators" for this tactic.

  I can't remember the title...

  looking for it on DVD...saw it once on VHS but didn't think to purchase it then

  netflix is clueless...but maybe Brando did not get a credit for this work.

  caught a bit of Charlie Sheen's spoof on "Top Gun"...can't remember the title...(Hot Shots??? Hot Shots II???)but it was the scene where he's going up river on a fishing boat and sees his dad comming down river on a gunboat--in character.

  it was very, very funny.

  problem is, now I'll be thinking of that every time I watch Applesauce Now.

    I have written 4 papers on that film. I truly think it is the one of the top 5 American fims.. I go on and on and on...but I'll save you all...unless quized on the subject..oh by the way, it is true and at this point will only be shown at cannes.
