This is currently the number one flick in America, after a great opening weekend. Has anyone seen it yet? I LOVE Steven Seagal, and I am happy that he has made a great comeback! He is a pretty good actor, and his martial arts skills are absolutely KILLER!!!
Follow Ups:
Have just seen 'exit Wounds' and it's a good film.
Seagal sends himself up nicely, there are some great fight sequences and the first ten minutes alone are worth the price of admission.
Seagal is an adequate actor, but that's not what you go to his films for, is it?
You go to see him kick arse, and believe me he causes a lot of people a lot of pain in this film!
Segal can act like cows can fly...nuthin personal Paulie...
But have you seen the movie? It's pretty awful stuff. The most entertaining thing is that it was filmed in Calgary, Canada (my old home town). Seeing them try to make Detroit from Calgary (with Tim Horton's Donuts and Chapters in the background if you can believe it) is pretty funny.Doug Schneider
SoundStage!
Actually it was filmed in Toronto, a buddy of mine was AD on that filmAndrew
Perhaps parts of it were, but only small parts (perhaps the studio set). THAT was most definitely Calgary -- the Calgary Tour, Center Street Bridge, etc., are all highly visible.Doug Schneider
That should say Calgary Tower, not Tour.Doug

< <Listen, Paulie, no way that he'll ever be as good as Jean Claude Van Damme. Don't even go there.
The little voices told me that soap is the hallmark of civilization.
Jean Claude Van Damme is a paper tiger. He wish he could be a martial artist like Seagal. Van Damme was knocked out cold by Chuck Zito in Score's. He instigated the fight, and got punked out like a nancy boy in front of his buddies. Maybe if he didn't always kick with his right leg, he could have gained the upper hand. Did you know he started out as a ballet dancer?? That's why his kicks are so flashy and pretty on screen.
> > He is a pretty good actor. < <Yup, almost equal to Kevin Costner in "The Big Chill."
