I adore Blue Velvet, Freaks, Performance, Mulholland Drive et al. The Departed didn't seem very gory to me. Weid is fine. Obsure is fine. Even demented can be interesting.

But I cannot watch this film or any of the others by this director. It's just way way too much for me. I can't do slasher flicks either.

I know Argento has many devoted fans - I just can't go there. No criticism, just not for me.
