and prejudices. Oh well. Perhaps you should read what an actual historian has said about this movie.http://300themovie.warnerbros.com/home.html?s=undefined

Those words are from the site you sent me to. Its pretty clear they're going to make a cartoonish mess of it.
an actual historian who has seen it seems to think rather highly of it. Please explain to me how an historian who is passionate about the subject matter would like a movie that has made a cartoonish mess of the subject for which he so passionate about. It seems you are having trouble coming to grips with the fact that your opinions are based purely on your pseudo-intelectual prejudices and idiotic assumptions and not any any merits of the actual film. Hey. we all have our hangups whether we recognize them or not.
I read the blog. I didn't find it particularly complimentary; more like rationalizations. He points out a number of fairly serious historical distortions. You seem to be taking this personally; you must read a lot of comic books.
You don't find that particularly complimentary from an historian who is passionate about that story? Hmmm. Oh and no, I don't read a lot of comic books. I just don't assume they are all dumb.
Click on "Making of 300"
