I got the movie as a present and watched the whole thing with Coppolas comments. It's not only my favorite movie but his too, of all the things he has done. And what a bonus for an audio/technical nerd!

Interesting that it competed with Coppola's "The Godfather Part II" for the Academy Award Best picture og 1974.I love the hand built tube and vunyl audio set up Caul has in his apartment.
I loved the movie when it was originsally released.
I like to watch it every few years...One thing this post reminds me of is the loss of John Cazale (sp?)
