#1 Bamboozled: I will never be able to watch Al Jolson again! and now understand the anger over 'Indian" mascots.
#2 Dances with Wolves: (I just got goosbumps again over thinking about the moment when Costner starts speaking to the soldiers in the indians tongue!) A very powerful movie.. and makes up for all the sucky other movies Costner made.
#3 The Razor's Edge: the climax just totally chilling and thoughtful

Independant film with some big names (Steve Buscemi, Harvey Keitel, David Arquette) about the uprising in a nazi concentration camp. One of those films that you can't turn off but almost wish that you never turned it on in the first place.

Grits: "Rewarding, very, very, VERY REWARDING!"
...one of the most exciting, devastating and thoughtful film experiences I've had in years.I don't want to say too much more for those who haevn't seen it yet.
But I'll just say there are 3 or 4 key scenes, as well as the ending.
