    but it was a 35mm print not a 70mm as far as I know. They usually make a big deal about it when they have a 70mm print

        I asked because I sem to recall some controversy when one of the laserdisc isssues was released. Although I own "Ran" I have never seen it theatrically. As you know, 35 MM and 70 MM have different aspect ratios.
