If length were the only qualification to a film achieving greatness then the unabridged Heavan's Gate would probably be on most critic's Top 10 Lists. Of course, LoTR is a masterpiece as rightfully determined by both an overwhelming consensus of the critical press and viewing public, but to get back to your original query: the closest I'll likely come to viewing Kings and Queens in the forseeable future is a) when finessing an opponant's bridge hand or b) reading your's and patrick's posts from a safe distance. ;^)
