It being Valentine's Day tomorrow:
I was dating my future wife 24 years ago when she asked me to see Children of Paradise at an art house in San Francisco. I instantly loved the film (and we have seen it at least a dozen times since then.) She confessed to me a few years ago that if I had not liked the movie, she would have stopped seeing me!

A somewhat similar story here... my wife and I saw the film while still dating... back in... man... so long ago... anyways... I never found out how close I was to being dumped...
