Yep. An all-around disappointment.I've been revisiting Antonioni lately and really enjoyed the restrained, almost tentative performance Nicholson gave in that '60's icon, The Passenger. It gets better with repeated viewings.
His (Nicholson) balance was later slowly replaced with a reeking, almost constant hubris. I still want to like him, though.
By the way, what a master Antonioni is. It could have been his hand that touched Nicholson in such a way.
