A very dense 3 hour look at one of the most engigmatic serial killers ever. There were flaws. Fincher couldn't resist creating false sense of danger in certain scenes where in real life there was absolutely none. Otherwise a nice exploration of a time and phenomenon that gripped the state and profoundly affected the people portrayed in the movie.
Follow Ups:
was in his house. THAT never happened.
In that scene the "reproter" was afraid he had stumbled into the Zodiac's home. But yeah, it was needless attempt to build tension.
.
"I'm going to go pack for France."
of a huge clock? That's why everything referred to time. The Chronicle (chronos=time)? The Los Angeles Times. "It's time.." "Time for what?" "Time to die".
