The woman is Rebecca Pidgeon, Mamet's wife, and she has an album out on Chesky! I liked the movie, too. Try another Mamet film, I think even better: "House of Games".
My girlfriend chastized me as a sexist pig when I referred to Rebecca Pidgeon is David Mamet's wife, so I now refer to David Mamet as Rebecca Pidgeon's husband. I guess Pulitzer prizes don't carry much weight these days. Also, did anyone notice the lack of the "F-word" in this Mamet screenplay compared to his usual?
is Bob Mamet, a pretty darn good smooth jazz pianist. Didn't David do "Glengarry Glen Ross?" He is best known as a Broadway playwright, wright??
I liked "House of Games" better than "The Spanish Prisoner", too. Haven't seen "H of G" in a few years. I may have to rent that one again.
