I did have a history professor point out that although Hitler did many bad things, he did bring Germany back from the largest inflation rate in the history of mankind and from high unemployment levels following WWI.

in Germany; Ford and GM fell over themselves to take advantage of concessions that were made to them, the Autobahns were built, and the stale + obsolete Wehrmahr republic was replaced by a vastly more productive, cronying, and murderous regime
Way Too few Charlie Chaplins in history and way too many Caligulas, Hitlers, Stalins + Maos for my liking
Let the history Professor explain why
