  Clark, where did you hear about this? I've been watching the Criterion site for months waiting for them to announce it! Saw it in a catalog that said it was being released, but no date. Oh, yeah, also coming from Criterion sometime: "Rashomon".

  Good film indeed, but one perhaps should not watch it without considering the bio or Arletty - quite an interesting story in itself. Certain parallels with "The Wonderful, Horrible Life of Leni Riefenstahl" are inevitable.

  What's the price tag from Criterion? Another $39? Heavy, man...
