Just saw SUNSHINE and it left me cold.

Lots of special effects and what I call modern direction from Danny Boyle. Too much of the 'is there a God' feel to it.
Reminded me of Dark Star in the use of the bomb theme, talking computers and garden in space stuff.

Acting not up to much and Michelle Yoh seemed out of place. Shame the Japanese guy got killed early on.

As for the ending 'tacked on,' very tacky indeed.
