some may remember him better in the 70s(?) 'road rebel' film. ~AH
Follow Ups:
The first "official James Bond"Terence emigrated to New Zealand from the UK in the 70's made a few Clunker Film and TV flicks there and moved with his Maori Wife and family to Cairns in Nth Queensland Australia where he was my neighbour on the Northern beaches. He painted and pottered there till he passed away approx 6 years ago.
How can that be, i just saw him on VHS, als Jimmy Bond---
illusory! Actual physical death can occur, yet person remains on
film, this is one of modern miracles of technology. Perhaps 3-D
imagery are even more striking as they have depth that 2-D film does not. In future, we may one day be able to interact with holograms
of deceased loved ones, friends, celebs, et al. Moreover, beyond
that cyborgian replicas for those can afford them, clones...list of speculations go on.... At any rate, I am happy u are enjoying fruits
of my past recommendation to see both Barry and Peter. When I first
saw that production in late 60s, got caught off guard...said, "What the....that
ain't Sean Connery!" ~AH
The fruits, yes, it was my way to say Hello to you....He-he...

..Vanishing Point was a notable presence in Grindhouse. Which I saw today.A lazy, rainy Saturday late afternoon matinee. Six people in the audience. Makes you wonder who this film was made for. I've heard that the two films may be split up because of poor attendance.
If true, so be it. But I'm glad I saw it as the "double feature" and on the big screen.
...a Dodge Charger was in Bullit.Seems like this is the thread for gaffes.

...gets my qualified approval. I was not knocked out by it. I happily go see these two directors just to stay up with them. This is a movie(X2) where presentation is the star. It bounces off the walls of brilliance and banality and it took me back in a fresh enough way to the B movie heaven of a sticky-toothed, sticky-footed childhood.
Fun. But I didn't want more. Nostalgia is not a desirable state for me.
As I said earlier, who did they make this movie for? Those old enough to appreciate the schtick probably won't get out of their home entertainment centers to see it. It's lost on the young, who have little appreciation for irony, anyway. All that's left are the hardcore. Not enough to make it pay. It'll go to DVD plenty soon.
