Cool post! Now I'm going to have to see that movie again. If you've got more reviews like this, please keep them coming.AudioHead (Mr. Head?), I too have been revisiting films from my childhood. I ravenously devoured sci-fi and horror movies, which didn't help much when I had to get something for my Mom from our dark basement.
As for horror movies, my next search is for George Romero's "Martin."
And on the obscure movies note, has anyone here seen Larry Cohen's
"God Told Me Too"? It's about a religious NYC cop investigating a series of seemingly unrelated murders. Every perpetrator, when asked why, replies "God told me to" and then they kill themselves. This flick goes on to one of the greatest plot twists, or "revelations" I've seen. Bloody odd, and a great "bad film."Rich H.
Follow Ups:
you go to www.imdb.com, type in "The Angry Red Planet" in the search
block, hit go; then find my review, click on my name and you will be
taken to a list of all my reviews, with the exception of "Taxi Driver", which was banned.(There is a review on this site, but it is
not in final form.) - AH
